July 2009

I've been pretty slack these last few months keeping this blog up-to-date. With two very active children (one who decides she'd like to be nocturnal periodically) I find my 'spare' time disappearing fast. I wouldn't change it though... I thank God every day for the special family we have.

June and July has been a 'family' time with Laura's family up last month and Matt's folks here this month. It has been great to spend time with everyone.

This has become one of my favourite (ok, I know I have lots of favourites...but I just can't decide) photos...

We are trying to get down to the beach more. Considering we actually live at the beach, and love going to the beach, we really don't get there as much as we'd like to. Here are some pics from an afternoon romp on the sand...

We spent a casual morning wandering around the Ginger Factory. There were a couple of cute kids at our table...

Something we've wanted to do for a while was take Kaleb to Australia Zoo. He just loves animals! It was a big day out - and thanks to Ma and Pop for taking turns with the kids :).
Laura and Kaleb with 'Cameron' the Croc. (Kaleb is keeping an eye on his teeth!)

Yep, this is a kangaroo. He has a kangaroo face....
...and a kangaroo tail.

Kaleb patting a koala.

Laura and Indi - in the Crocoseum.

K loved the baby animals.... this time last year, he would have shyed away from feeding them, but being that little bit older and more confident, he didn't want to stop!

Kaleb with Poppy at 'Elephantasia'.

Indi discovering a kangaroo.

Kaleb, trying to feed the kangaroo pellets one at a time!

Back home again...

We took a drive to meet friends for morning tea at Montville. It was pretty chilly up there, so we had the kids rugged up a little. Indi's beanie is still a little on the large side and became more of a 'tea cosy' style on the drive home...

Here is Kaleb combining two of the things he loves - riding in his boat whilst playing the drums...

Some more random pics from around home....

Here is Kaleb with his 'Mr Bean' and 'Mr Strawberry'. It's his job to carefully water them and talk to them everyday to see how they are growing. (Thanks Poppy for such a great learning expereience....I hope we can keep them alive!)

......PROBABLY MORE TO COME SOON.......
