September is always such a great month!

Matt has a couple of weeks off, it's Kaleb's birthday and just generally a beautiful time of the year - gorgeous days to get out and enjoy. Here's Kaleb trying out the new 'round and round play thingy' at the park...

One of Kaleb's favourite things is the swing. He loves it when you pull him back really high and give him a huge push. I think he just wants to go high and fast really quickly, rather than waiting for me to give lots of pushes.....

Indi, on the otherhand, isn't quite so keen on the swing yet - she just wants to eat it!

We celebrated Kaleb's birthday with morning tea at the park with friend's.

So little stress - no fancy games as the boys just want to play on the playground... suits me! :)

Here is Kaleb with Matt opening his present from Ma and Poppy - a cricket bat and ball.

Here's my attempt at a drumkit cake for Kaleb. Was a near disaster as the 'hard' icing I was making curdled, so I had to finish icing with 'soft' icing - which was fine when it was in the fridge.... By the time we got the the park, the kit was missing a few pieces...but the whole lot was devoured pretty quickly anyway. Note to self - KISS!

This wasn't taken on his birthday, but a few days after. We had a big morning and K struggled to make it through lunch.... I was in the kitchen and thought it was a bit quiet.... and yes, he was sound asleep...

Tonka - now 3 months...

Kaleb's present from Nanna and Grandad came in the mail. It was a moment of great excitement for Kaleb to get such 'big mail'! So big in fact that he fit in the post bag! Thanks Nanna and Grandad, Kaleb loves his drawing board.

This cracks me up! Twas a hot afternoon - hence not a lot of clothing - but Kaleb insisted that he wear his helmet to ride his bike on the deck so he would be 'nice and safe'. Who am I to argue?

Most will remember this day as the 'Day of Dust'.

We will remember this day as the day Kaleb caught his first fish!

Matt and Kaleb had a 'day out' starting with fishing at Cotton Tree, a movie and lunch.

We didn't escape the dust either. Thankfully, the boys got home before the worst of it hit the coast. I was in Brisbane for the day, catching up with Naomi, Lexi, Alyssa and Marky who flew in from Scotland...but drove home in the haze... This is the view from our back deck...

Indi's 'I'm about to cry' face is sooo cute! Sometimes, I just want to watch it before going to her aid.... This is a 'I've just climbed up here and can't get down' moment....
